010/366 “Card games” After finishing the paper for our Science Week project for Physics, my blockmate and I practically had nothing to do. It reminded me of the old days when my blockmates and I used to take all of our subjects at CAS (with the insanely unfair loooong breaks, thanks to getting probably the crappiest schedules of the semester), the idle periods spent on waiting, on random conversations over siomai or pancit canton, and perhaps our favorite, on countless rounds of Pusoy Dos. It was my first time playing Monopoly Deal, and as always, I had my beginner’s luck and finished my first ever game by having the other players pay me 22 million each for the full set of a property with a hotel at double the rent, ha! Well as for the subsequent games, it’d be better not to ask. Hahaha. (01/10/2012)
